[April 16, 2025] K-ASIC Hosts Tech&Toast: AI&ML Seminar in Silicon Valley

On April 16, 2025, the Korea AI & System IC Innovation Center (K-ASIC) successfully hosted the inaugural Tech&Toast: AI&ML seminar at its Silicon Valley headquarters. The event gathered over 90 attendees, including resident startups, global semiconductor leaders, and venture capital firms, to explore the evolving frontier of AI and semiconductor integration.


Held at K-ASIC’s Event Hall, the seminar was a strategic initiative to elevate Korea’s fabless ecosystem and foster cross-border innovation in AI chip technologies.




Keynote Session: Industry & Academia Drive Future Vision

The seminar’s main session featured four distinguished speakers from leading institutions:

  • Dr. Henry Huang, Investment Director at Micron Ventures, outlined investment strategies and AI chip industry trajectories.

  • Arun Raman, Lead AI Solutions Architect at NVIDIA, discussed the “Age of Reasoning” and infrastructure requirements for scalable AI.

  • Professor Jongse Park of KAIST (currently visiting Stanford University) introduced LLMServingSim, a novel co-simulation platform for efficient LLM inference serving.

  • Chandra Shekhar Dhir, AI/ML Director at JPMorgan Chase, shared his journey across innovation hubs, bridging corporate AI and entrepreneurship.

The Emerging Tech Showcase highlighted pioneering technologies from K-ASIC's portfolios:
