Santa Clara, CA | June 4–5, 2025 — The Korea AI & System IC Innovation Center (K-ASIC), in collaboration with KOTRA, successfully hosted the Korea Pavilion at AI & Big Data Expo North America 2025, held at the Santa Clara Convention Center. The pavilion served as a strategic platform to showcase Korea’s emerging AI semiconductor technologies while facilitating global business matchmaking and partnership development.

This year’s Korea Pavilion featured three K-ASIC-affiliated companies—AiM Future, Dnotitia, and Mobilint—each presenting advanced solutions across edge AI, generative intelligence, and on-device computing, reflecting the growing global competitiveness of Korea’s fabless ecosystem.

AiM Future: Advancing NPU IP for Generative AI

Founded in 2020 as a spin-off from LG Electronics’ North America Research Lab, AiM Future specializes in neural processing unit (NPU) IP optimized for AI acceleration. Its technologies are already deployed in consumer electronics applications, including robotics and smart TVs.

At the expo, the company unveiled its next-generation GAIA (Generative AI Architecture) series, designed to deliver significant improvements in performance, power, and area (PPA) efficiency. The GAIA lineup supports a wide range of AI frameworks through its proprietary SDK, NeuroMosaic Studio, enabling rapid prototyping and deployment across diverse edge and industrial environments.

Dnotitia: Expanding Local LLM and Vector AI Infrastructure

Dnotitia introduced two flagship solutions to the North American market:

  • Mnemos – An on-device LLM platform integrating the company’s proprietary foundation model (DNA) with its lightweight inference engine (Aether), enabling real-time text and code generation in offline environments. The solution is particularly suited for high-security sectors such as defense, finance, and healthcare.

  • Seahorse – A cloud-based vector database SaaS platform designed for multimodal data processing and RAGOps (Retrieval-Augmented Generation Operations). Featuring a GUI-based MCP (Model Context Protocol), Seahorse allows enterprises to deploy generative AI systems rapidly without complex setup.

By launching Seahorse as Korea’s first SaaS-based vector database platform, Dnotitia is accelerating enterprise adoption of semantic search and generative AI workflows.

Mobilint: Delivering High-Performance Edge AI Solutions

Mobilint showcased its latest edge AI accelerator, MLA100 MXM, powered by its proprietary AI chip architecture. The module delivers up to 80 TOPS of compute at 25W, offering a high-efficiency alternative to traditional GPU-based solutions.

Key features include:

  • 8-core NPU architecture for parallel AI model execution

  • Compact form factor (82 × 70 mm, 110g) optimized for constrained environments

  • Support for robotics, autonomous systems, and smart manufacturing applications

  • Significantly lower power consumption and cost compared to GPU-based systems

Mobilint’s solution addresses the increasing demand for scalable, on-device AI compute across real-world deployment environments.

Global Engagement and Strategic Impact

Throughout the two-day event, participating companies engaged with global customers, investors, and strategic partners, generating strong interest in Korea’s AI semiconductor capabilities. The Korea Pavilion highlighted not only technological innovation but also the scalability and global readiness of Korea’s fabless ecosystem.

By combining advanced technology development with targeted global outreach, K-ASIC continues to strengthen Korea’s position in the global AI semiconductor value chain—supporting companies in expanding internationally and building meaningful cross-border partnerships.
