San Jose, CA | June 30, 2026 — The Korea AI & System IC Innovation Center (K-ASIC) hosted the 2026 Global Growth Fund Seminar for Korean Companies, bringing together leading Korean investment and policy finance institutions to strengthen the investment ecosystem supporting AI semiconductor companies expanding into the U.S. market.

As AI infrastructure continues to reshape the global semiconductor industry, K-ASIC emphasized that technology alone is not enough to build a sustainable ecosystem. Long-term growth requires strong connections to capital, strategic investors, and global commercialization opportunities.

The seminar convened executives from Korea Development Bank (KDB) Silicon Valley, The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC), and Dominus Investment, together with K-ASIC portfolio companies, to exchange insights on investment strategies, fundraising, and U.S. market expansion.

Building the AI Semiconductor Investment Ecosystem

The event was designed to help Korean AI semiconductor companies better understand the evolving investment landscape while creating direct connections with institutions capable of supporting their global growth.

The keynote sessions covered:

  • AI semiconductor investment trends and venture investment strategies

  • Global technology finance and government-backed funding programs

  • U.S. investment case studies and commercialization strategies

  • Practical guidance for fundraising and business expansion in Silicon Valley

The discussions highlighted how strategic capital, alongside technological innovation, has become a critical driver of competitiveness in the global AI infrastructure market.

Connecting Portfolio Companies with Strategic Investors

Following the keynote presentations, K-ASIC hosted a networking reception that enabled portfolio companies to engage directly with representatives from Korea's leading investment and policy finance organizations.

The sessions created opportunities for founders and executives to discuss:

  • Investment readiness

  • Global go-to-market strategies

  • Cross-border commercialization

  • Future fundraising opportunities

  • Long-term strategic partnerships

Rather than traditional networking, the event focused on building meaningful relationships between AI semiconductor innovators and institutions that can support their international growth.

Strengthening Korea-U.S. Collaboration

By bringing together government-backed financial institutions, venture investors, and innovative semiconductor companies, K-ASIC continues to expand the collaborative infrastructure necessary for Korean AI startups to succeed in the global market.

The seminar reflects K-ASIC's broader mission of serving as a bridge between Korea's AI semiconductor ecosystem and Silicon Valley's investment community—creating practical pathways for commercialization, strategic partnerships, and sustainable growth.

Looking Ahead

K-ASIC will continue to develop investment initiatives that connect Korean AI semiconductor companies with global capital, strategic partners, and commercialization opportunities throughout the United States.

By strengthening both technology and investment ecosystems, K-ASIC aims to accelerate the global expansion of Korea's next generation of AI semiconductor innovators.
