St. Louis, MO | November 16–20, 2025 — The Korea Semiconductor Industry Association (KSIA), in collaboration with the Korea AI & System IC Innovation Center (K-ASIC), showcased six of Korea’s leading AI semiconductor companies at SC25, one of the world’s premier events for supercomputing and AI infrastructure.
The Korea Pavilion highlighted the country’s expanding role in the global AI hardware ecosystem, featuring innovations spanning edge AI, generative AI acceleration, advanced storage, and next-generation thermal solutions.
Meet Korea’s AI Chip Innovators at SC25
The following companies represented the forefront of Korea’s system semiconductor ecosystem:
ADTechnology – Korea’s largest ASIC design house, delivering turnkey SoC solutions across advanced nodes (5/4/3nm) for AI and HPC applications
FADU – Leader in SSD controllers, showcasing its PCIe Gen6 Sierra controller with up to 28.5 GB/s performance at sub-9W power
HyperAccel – Developer of the LPU (Language Processing Unit), optimized for efficient LLM acceleration using advanced process nodes
KoolMicro – Thermal engineering innovator developing ultra-dense microchannel liquid cooling solutions (up to 2,000W/cm²) for AI chips and chiplet architectures
Mobilint – On-device AI semiconductor company, featuring its MLA100 MXM delivering 80 TOPS at 25W with 8-core parallel processing
Supergate – Provider of scalable logic IP and chiplet interconnect solutions for AI accelerators and HPC systems
Together, these companies demonstrated Korea’s capabilities in delivering efficient, scalable, and competitive AI semiconductor technologies across the global value chain.
Independent Korean Exhibitors Expand Korea’s Global Footprint
Beyond the Korea Pavilion, several Korean companies participated independently, further reinforcing Korea’s emergence as a full-stack AI hardware player.
Dnotitia introduced its Vector Data Processing Unit (VDPU) prototype, a specialized accelerator for semantic search and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) workflows. Designed for compatibility with open-source vector databases such as Milvus and FAISS, the VDPU demonstrated up to 9x throughput improvements over CPU-based systems. The company also unveiled updates to its SaaS platform Seahorse Cloud, expanding capabilities in RAGOps and AgentOps for enterprise AI applications.
MangoBoost showcased a next-generation DPU (Data Processing Unit) architecture positioned as the “data movement engine” for AI systems. Rather than competing with GPUs, its platform focuses on optimizing networking and storage efficiency—critical for large-scale AI workloads. The company demonstrated a hybrid system combining DPU acceleration, high-capacity storage, and GPU compute, offering a cost-effective alternative to traditional architectures.
These independent showcases highlighted Korea’s expanding technological depth across AI-native infrastructure, including storage, networking, and system-level optimization.
Advancing Korea’s Role in the Global AI Hardware Ecosystem
SC25 provided a comprehensive view of the technologies shaping the next generation of AI computing—from edge NPU innovation to AI-native storage and data infrastructure. Korea’s strong presence at the event underscored its growing influence across multiple layers of the semiconductor stack.
K-ASIC will continue to support Korean semiconductor companies in expanding their global footprint, facilitating partnerships, and accelerating commercialization on the international stage.
As the global AI race intensifies, K-ASIC remains committed to building bridges between Korea’s fabless innovators and leading global ecosystems.
Looking Ahead: Expanding Global Engagement
Following SC25, K-ASIC will continue to amplify Korea’s semiconductor innovation through global platforms and strategic initiatives, with upcoming engagements including CES 2026 and beyond.
Stay connected with K-ASIC for continued updates on global events, partnerships, and breakthroughs shaping the future of AI and system semiconductor technologies.
